LUA HADAR with TWIST Cultural Diplomats for a New new age
Themission of LUA HADAR with TWIST is to promote world harmony through music.
Our repertoire and style, based on American jazz, draws also from international standards and songs about our common humanity. Reviewer Michael Arens, of Jazz Dimensions Germany, wrote recently: “She makes the other side of the world seem just a stone’s throw away…”
Lua’s style as a vocalist has been molded by cultural diplomacy experiences in places as diverse as Bali, Russia, Thailand, France, Switzerland, Japan, Hungary and Italy. Her love for The Great American Songbook, the soundtrack of her New York childhood, and her fascination with world cultures, influence the sophisticated song choices for her high-energy band, TWIST.
